Hot Coffee vs. Steaming Green Tea

Imagine a foggy dawn and an aromatic cup of coffee! Imagine a cold evening and a cup of tea! Both sound equally tempting and inviting. But, some prefer coffee and some prefer tea!

Coffee is known to stimulate your mental senses and draw you out of fatigue. Since ages we have been hearing that coffee has invigorating properties and it helps in blood flow to the brain and hence, is good for health. Recently, we have been hearing a lot about tea being a healthy drink compared to coffee as it doesn't have caffeine. But not many know that it is the green tea which is not brewed, fermented or boiled that is good for health. Otherwise, if it is boiled with milk and sugar, it loses all its properties and is as good or as bad as coffee.

Coffee stimulates bowel movements, helps in digestion and has a protective effect on colon cancer. It is not known that it causes any harm to pregnant ladies either: Never heard of birth defects or miscarriages due to drinking of coffee. Caffeine in coffee helps people in losing weight, as it reduces appetite. Tea calms your nerves and boosts your mood. Tea helps in shrinking your fat cells and builds your muscle cells.

To wake up and feel fresh, the caffeine in coffee is helpful and keeps you going through the day. But, if you would rather drink fermented green tea, then you are healthy too, in addition to the little caffeine you get.
